Becky Brown

Fractional Head of Sales for technical B2B startups

I close deals and build the engine that keeps them closing after I leave. Berlin-based, working with founders across Europe in English.

The job has two halves and I do both: closing, and building the system your full-time team will inherit. The playbook, the CRM you can actually forecast against, the onboarding curriculum, the hiring rubric.

How much of the closing I do depends on your stage. Further along, I run deals myself. Earlier, the customer conversations need to stay with you, so I build the system and coach you to run it. I'll tell you which lane you're in if you're not sure.

Who this works for

Technical founders selling technical products to technical buyers: devtools, infrastructure, data, APIs, observability, dev platforms. You've either closed some deals or raised some money. Stage-wise, pre-PMF up to about €1M ARR. Europe works as long as your sales runs in English.

The hardest part of early B2B sales isn't getting the first few customers. It's spotting what they had in common and building a process that closes the next ones without the founder's instinct carrying every deal. That's where I work.

Why me

First revenue-carrying enterprise seller at 3T Software Labs, joining at $250k ARR. The product: a paid MongoDB IDE, sold to developers who defaulted to free open-source tools. No sales engineer, ever.

I closed the deals that took 3T to $1M ARR myself, then built and led the team of four that grew the enterprise book to $8M+, about 60% of the company's $13M+ total.

What you get, during and after

First step: email me and tell me where your sales stands. If you've got deal history, I'll review it. If you're earlier, I'll tell you what I'd build first. Either way you get a short, honest read before we book a call.
